Do you believe in the power of women to change the world?
Want to be an extra in a documentary that is trying to do just that?
The best news we got last year was that we were funded by the New Zealand Film commission to make a movie about our Body Positive Art Project called Finding Venus.
We also go funding from four different councils to bring the project to their regions. Whoop Whoop.
It is a short form comedy documentary about a grandmother, a mother, and an auntie who are trying to figure out how to deal with their own body shame issues before it spreads to the 7 year old girl in the family.
It takes place at the Finding Venus Festival .
If you attend the festival you could possibly feature in the film. If you do the golden photo shoot you will definitely feature in the Exhibition as it travels the country.
The number of attendees is limited to 150 for the workshop and 100 for the photoshoot. If you would like to be one of the ones featured then make sure you grab your ticket here.
